Step 1: Couple requests the Initial
Consultation
Step 2: Couple secures officiant's
services by returning the Wedding Officiant Booking Agreement along
with a $195 non-refundable booking fee
Step 3: Couple secures marriage license
according to the laws of that state (see Links
for more information about marriage licenses)
Step 4: Couple returns completed
Ceremony Workbook to officiant at least 1 month prior to the ceremony
date
Step 5: Couple schedules Final Consultation
to be held within a month of the ceremony (2 weeks before the ceremony
is most common)
Step 6: Two weeks before the ceremony,
couple pays ceremony fee (and rehearsal fee, if applicable)
Step 7: At Final Consultation - officiant
presents a final draft copy of the ceremony text, fills out the
rehearsal worksheet, and discusses last-minute details and final
editing of the ceremony
Step 8: Officiant arrives at your
ceremony location about 45 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.
After the ceremony, she fills out the marriage license and mails
it to the appropriate courthouse
